Alcohol brands face licensing and venue restrictions that non-alcoholic brands do not, so the two are ranked independently.
Non-alcoholic brands operate without the licensing and venue restrictions applied to alcohol sponsors, so they are ranked separately.
| Rank | Brand | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Coca-ColaTB-031 | 12 | 2 | 31 years | Title Sponsorship |
| 02 | Grace Foods | 3 | 2 | 3 years | Activation |
Composite Score is calculated per confirmed sponsorship relationship and summed across all of a brand's confirmed properties. Mechanism weighting: Owned Platform, 5 points. Title or Headline Sponsorship, 3 points. Named Sponsor or Flexible Activation, 1 point, these two labels describe the same scoring tier and are treated as equivalent, the distinction in wording reflects how each relationship is described by its own primary source, not a difference in commercial depth. Tenure multiplier applied to each relationship's base score: 10 or more consecutive years, multiplied by 3. 5 to 9 years, multiplied by 2. 2 to 4 years, multiplied by 1.5. Under 2 years or tenure not established, multiplied by 1.
Worked example: Hennessy's score of 25.5 is the sum of six separately calculated relationships. The Hennessy Cypher, Owned Platform, 5 points, times a 15-year tenure multiplier of 3, equals 15. Back to the City, Title Sponsorship, 3 points, times a 4-year tenure multiplier of 1.5, equals 4.5. Afro Nation, Activation, 1 point, times a 5-year tenure multiplier of 2, equals 2. The remaining three confirmed relationships, Notting Hill Carnival, Wireless Festival, and Anywhere Festival, each score 1 point at the base Activation rate with tenure not yet established. Total: 15 plus 4.5 plus 2 plus 1 plus 1 plus 1 equals 25.5.
No minimum number of confirmed relationships is required to appear in the Ranked Tier; a single exceptional relationship can qualify on its own. This index does not rank by disclosed sponsorship value, as no public pricing exists for the relationships confirmed here; ranking is instead based on confirmed mechanism, tenure, and breadth.
Sourcing note on Grace Foods: this entry is independently verified, official food and drink partner of Notting Hill Carnival for a third consecutive year in 2026 across five independent trade sources, and separately confirmed at Toronto Caribbean Carnival via that festival's own 2023 sponsor announcement. Included here for completeness given its sourcing sits earlier in this project's research history than the other entries on this page.
This index is a living document. Whenever a future Topical Brief or Event Intelligence entry confirms a new sponsorship relationship, an existing brand's tenure, or a new brand entirely, within a category already live on this index, that finding is added to the relevant tier here as part of publishing that entry, rather than held as a separate maintenance task.
