Editorial Standards

CultrVibe Intelligence maintains the following non-negotiable editorial standards across all published content.

The Afro-Diaspora Lens

CultrVibe's primary editorial lens is the Afro-diaspora live culture economy. Every piece of intelligence published on this platform, regardless of its primary subject matter, must contain an explicit analytical connection to what the data, transaction or market development means for the stakeholders, capital flows and commercial trajectory of the global Afro-diaspora live culture economy. This connection must be commercially grounded, directed at a named stakeholder group, and derived from the specific data points cited in the piece rather than from general cultural observation. Content that covers mainstream venue economics, institutional capital flows or broader market structures should connect its analytical conclusions to the Afro-diaspora economy in the final substantive paragraph before any stakeholder prompts or data confidence notes.

CultrVibe does not exist to report the news. The news is freely available elsewhere, and the fact that something happened carries no value on its own. CultrVibe exists for the layer beneath that: translating events, transactions and announcements into what they mean for how stakeholders in the Afro-diaspora live culture economy invest, underwrite, plan and act. If a piece of content cannot answer what should a named stakeholder now do differently, it does not belong on this platform, regardless of how well sourced or newsworthy it is.

The Content Fit Process

Every piece of external material considered for publication on CultrVibe is assessed through a fixed sequence, applied in full each time, rather than a case-by-case judgement.

First, the Afro-diaspora lens test: does the event, deal, number or partnership itself involve or open a door for the Afro-diaspora live culture economy specifically. If this test is not met, the material is filed as background reference only and nothing is published, regardless of how well sourced or newsworthy it is.

Second, Topical Brief fit is assessed first among publishable formats. A Topical Brief is the anchor decision. Material substantial enough for a Topical Brief frequently also contains a tighter, single-argument angle worth extracting as a separate Market Note, but the reverse does not hold, material that is genuinely Market Note in scope does not imply an underlying Topical Brief.

Third, Event Intelligence fit is assessed independently of the Topical Brief and Market Note decision. This includes Historical Benchmarks, for specific, dated, quantifiable past events with attendance or gross data, Upcoming Docket, for confirmed future dated events, and Past Events, for events that have concluded with settled data.

Fourth, Exchange fit is assessed. This covers whether a genuine Call opportunity exists, either identified within the story or as an invitation extended to the organisation to post one directly, and whether the organisation warrants a Directory profile, classified as ProviderProfile for active, engageable operators or IntelligenceReference for entities relevant primarily as documented sources within CultrVibe's own coverage.

Fifth, every piece of content actually published, across any of the above formats, receives a Live Tape ticker item, written as an evergreen statement rather than a time-limited news line, and an Archive Index entry.

This sequence is applied in full for every new piece of external material under consideration, ensuring no genuinely relevant section of the platform is overlooked in favour of the first fit identified.

The Filed Reference Log

When material is assessed against the Afro-diaspora lens test and does not meet it, it is not published, but the assessment itself is recorded rather than discarded. This ensures a filing decision remains traceable and reusable if the same organisation, venue or subject becomes relevant again, rather than requiring the assessment to be repeated from scratch.

Each filed entry records four things only: the subject, in brief, the date it was assessed, the specific reason it did not meet the Afro-diaspora lens test, and the potential future trigger that would bring it back into consideration.

This log is internal and not published on the platform. It is maintained separately, outside CultrVibe's own infrastructure, as a simple working record.

Geography Tag Convention

Geography tags on Topical Briefs, Market Notes and Event Intelligence entries are always set at country level, never city or region level, regardless of how specific the underlying event or organisation is. This applies consistently across every published piece, TB-007 uses UNITED KINGDOM rather than London, TB-018 uses UNITED STATES rather than Landover Maryland, MN-021 uses CANADA rather than Toronto, and TB-024 uses KENYA and UGANDA rather than Nairobi or Kampala.

City, region and venue names remain fully permitted, and are expected, within the body text of any piece where that level of precision matters to the reader. The Geography tag exists specifically as a filtering and categorisation field rather than a descriptive one, and its function depends on staying at a consistent, predictable level across every piece of content on the platform. A piece covering multiple cities within the same country, such as a comparison spanning Toronto and Vancouver, still carries a single country-level tag, CANADA, not two separate city tags.

Where a piece spans multiple countries, as with cross-market comparison pieces, each relevant country is listed as its own tag, separated by the standard mid-dot convention, rather than substituting any country for a more specific city or region within it.

Living Intelligence

CultrVibe Intelligence is a living record, not a static archive. Every brief, note and report published on this platform is subject to ongoing editorial review as new verified data emerges. When existing content is updated with new intelligence, a verified correction or a confirmed commercial development that materially changes the analytical conclusions of the original piece, the update is flagged transparently using an UPDATE marker and the content is temporarily resurfaced in the editorial grid so that returning subscribers are not required to re-read the full archive to stay current. This commitment to maintaining content as a compounding intelligence record rather than a collection of dated snapshots is a core editorial principle of CultrVibe Intelligence.

Accuracy

Every financial figure, attendance record and streaming metric published on this platform must be traceable to a named primary or verified secondary source. Figures derived from social media, unverified press releases or promotional material are not published without independent corroboration.

Neutrality

CultrVibe Intelligence does not advocate for any artist, promoter, venue, brand or commercial entity. Market analysis reflects commercial data and observable structural trends. Conclusions are drawn from evidence, not from promotional interest.

Precision of Language

Editorial copy uses British English exclusively. Imprecise superlatives, promotional adjectives and unquantified claims are not permitted in analytical copy. All commercial implications stated in market notes are derived from the specific data points cited in the same note.

Transparency of Limitation

Where data is incomplete, contested or geographically limited, this is disclosed explicitly. CultrVibe Intelligence does not present partial data as comprehensive.

No Conflicts

Staff, contributors and commissioned analysts are required to disclose any financial interest in entities covered in their contributions. Conflicted content is either reassigned or the conflict is disclosed to readers at the point of publication.
