Strategic Partners Sought for Clean Our Coastline Campaign at FANTEFEST London 2026

Ghana · United Kingdom · InternationalUNDISCLOSED Deadline: Rolling, priority given ahead of 27 September 2026

Call Summary

The Obokese Foundation, in partnership with the FANTEFEST London 2026 Secretariat, is seeking local and international partners across three tracks to support the Clean Our Coastline Campaign, a flagship environmental and cultural initiative forming part of FANTEFEST Ahobaa Kɛse, London 2026.

The campaign addresses coastal degradation, plastic pollution and waste management across Ghana's Greater Accra, Central and Western Regions, mobilising Paramount Chiefs, Queenmothers, traditional authorities, youth organisations and community leaders as environmental stewardship ambassadors. The campaign is confirmed as financially and technically supported by Ghana's Environmental Protection Authority, and BuzStopBoys, a Ghanaian sanitation and environmental advocacy organisation, has confirmed its role as an implementation partner within the programme.

The campaign will launch internationally at the FANTEFEST Grand Durbar of Chiefs on 27 September 2026 at City Hall, London, deliberately timed to coincide with World Tourism Day.

Partnership Tracks

Three partnership tracks are open.

Implementation and Grassroots Logistics: on the ground support for coastal cleanup delivery, community engagement, waste management infrastructure and youth mobilisation across the three target regions.

Corporate Sponsorship and Funding: financial contribution toward outreach scaling, equipment procurement, educational programming and logistical delivery.

Global Activation and Media Partnership: amplification of the City Hall London launch, international media reach around World Tourism Day, and technical expertise or investment partnership at global scale.

Proposal Requirements

Proposals should address: an overview of the organisation's relevant experience in environmental, cultural or community development work, the specific track or tracks of interest, a proposed execution strategy including resources, methodology and timeline ahead of the September 2026 launch, and named lead contacts for coordination with the Secretariat.
