
An unnamed gallery foundation is seeking a visual artist for a three-month paid residency with studio space in East London and a public exhibition at the residency's conclusion. The residency commences January 2027.
The foundation's programme prioritises artists working across diaspora identity, material culture and the built environment.
Three months of studio-based practice with a materials budget, one public open studio and a closing exhibition supported by the foundation's curatorial and installation teams.
The artist will deliver one public talk and one workshop with a partner community organisation.
A portfolio demonstrating a sustained body of work. Artists at any career stage may apply. Right to work in the United Kingdom for the residency period is required.
Submissions should include an outline of the work the artist intends to develop during the residency.
Artist fee of £5,000 to £12,000 depending on scope, inclusive of a materials allowance. Studio space, installation support and exhibition costs are provided by the foundation.
