An unnamed streaming platform is seeking an experienced composer or production team to score a four-part documentary series exploring the heritage and cultural identity of West Africa's coastal communities. Delivery is remote and the provider may be based in any location.

The commissioning editor is seeking a score that draws on regional instrumentation without resorting to pastiche.

Scope of Work

Original score across four episodes of approximately 48 minutes each, including main title theme, episode cues and stems delivered to broadcast specification.

The provider will attend two remote spotting sessions per episode and deliver two rounds of revisions per cue.

Provider Requirements

At least one broadcast or streaming credit as lead composer. Showreel or portfolio link required. Providers should confirm publishing and rights expectations in their submission.

Familiarity with West African instrumentation and session musician networks is strongly preferred.

Commercial Terms

Budget range of £8,000 to £20,000 as an all-in composer fee including session costs. Rights structure is negotiable and should be addressed in the proposal.
